Online horseplayers get a free shot at a piece of a $5,000 jackpot starting Saturday on the Santa Anita Park website.

ShowVivor 2009 rewards the contestant who can stay alive the longest by picking one horse a day to hit the board until the Santa Anita meet ends April 19. The grand prize is $3,000 plus round-trip airline tickets to Las Vegas where winners will spend two nights in a premier room at the Las Vegas Hilton. The second place finisher earns $1,500 and third prize is $500.

Entries are free, but must be in before 12:15 p.m. PST on Saturday. Visit www.santaanita.com for all of the details.
